Overview / Responsibilities
Massy Wood Ltd. is currently seeking expressions of interest for several Disciplined Technicians - Civil / Mechanical / Electricial & Instrumentation roles (listed below) for a potential project to be based in Trinidad.
 Civil Technician
- Support experienced group of civil engineers in the execution of various civil engineering design projects.
- Assist with the preparation of conceptual design documents and construction plans.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to facilitate successful project execution.
Mechnical Technician
- Equipment related experience dealing with a variety of micro turbines, valves, reciprocate and centrifugal pumps, compressors, generators, platform cranes and winches for the Oil and Gas industry.
- Effective troubleshooting and resolution of problems affecting mechanical equipment, torque and lift devices.
- Execute the work packages assigned according to plan, ensuring work is completed satisfactorily, in a safe and efficient manner and recorded on the planned maintenance history records.
Electrical Technician
- Electrical experience dealing with a variety of electrical equipment for the Oil and Gas industry e.g.: MCC, batteries, transformers, electrical motors, UPS system, distribution panel, switchgear, charger system, motorized valve, control panels, emergency generator, lighting system, grounding system, VFD/VSD system.
- Support the operations in ensuring that the electrical distribution system is maintained in a safe and reliable working condition, operated within the design parameters, and complies with Client and Massy Wood procedures and legislation.
- Execute the work packages assigned according to plan, ensuring work is completed satisfactorily, in a safe and efficient manner and recorded on the planned maintenance history records.
Instrumentation Technician
- Instrument related experience dealing with a variety of instruments for the Oil and Gas industry.
- Provide valid, accurate and up to date information for the Computerized Maintenance Management System, through detailed documentation of Work Orders.
- Execute the work packages assigned according to plan, ensuring work is completed satisfactorily, in a safe and efficient manner and recorded on the planned maintenance history records.
Skills / Qualifications
- Technician’s Diploma or equivalent certification in a related area of study.
- Typically a minimum of 3-10 years’ relevant experience.
- National citizen or permanent resident of Trinidad & Tobago.
