The work schedule for this position is:
- Full Time 40 number of hours per week
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (6 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

The incumbent serves as the Office Assistant for CDC. The incumbent performs a full range of general administrative duties for the office. The incumbent will have primary responsibility of coordinating time & attendance. The incumbent will report directly to the Operations & Management Branch Chief.
Serves at the first point of contact for the CDC Haiti Office. The incumbent greets visitors, receives telephone calls and refers callers to the appropriate office and/or takes messages. Prepares and submits visitor notification clearance for Embassy access for CDC HQ TDYers, Implementing Partners, Government of Haiti Ministry staff and any other multilateral or bilateral visitors. Responsible for records management of all incoming and outgoing official correspondence, both written and electronic. Assists the Operations and Management Branch Chief with records management of all official office files (both administrative and programmatic) on the CDC server share drive. Responsible for the inventory control of all general office supplies. Schedules conference rooms, conference calls and other general office meetings and/or training events .Serves as the time & attendance and payroll clerk for CDC Locally Employed Staff. Maintains the Leave Calendar for the entire CDC office.
Qualifications and Evaluations
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible secretarial or clerical experience is required.
Associate degree in business administration or an accredited secretarial business school is required.
LANGUAGE: Level III sp/read English is required. “This may be tested”
Level III sp/read French is required.
Level III sp/read Haitian Creole is required.

Benefits and Other Info
Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Port-au-Prince may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
