Short- and Long – Term Agriculture Experts, Haiti

Position Summary:

PADF seeks short- and long-term technical experts for an anticipated U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) program focused on food security, agriculture, agribusiness and resiliency. Candidates will have experience with climate-resilient value chains, agribusiness development, policy formulation, and umbrella strategies such as USAID’s Feed the Future program. Fluency in English is required as is professional proficiency in French. Haitian Creole is highly desired. These positions are contingent on funding.

Required Qualifications

  • At least eight (8) years of professional experience with donor-funded agriculture development projects; USAID project experience highly desired.
  • Relevant university degree; advanced degree desired.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of USAID and other international donor programs.
  • Fluency in English is required. Professional proficiency in French required; Haitian Creole highly desired.
  • Experience in Haiti strongly preferred.

Duration of Appointment: Long and Short-Term Technical Assistance Appointments

Location: Port au Prince, Haiti and other locations in Haiti.

Dates: To be determined. These positions are contingent upon donor funding.
