The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 1 is an intermediate level role responsible for executing complex transactions and participating in complex processes in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing all regular transfers, payments, transactions.


  • Process all regular local payments which include processing of payments, receivables,
  • Process as a L2 reviewer SDN screening hit and escalate to Compliance if necessary.
  • Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvements
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedent
  • Contribute to and collaborate with cash & trade operations projects as needed
  • Develop comprehension of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives
  • Ensure compliance of corporate policies, code of conduct and regulatory directives related to function
  • Act as Transaction Service Representative /Local Ops RTGS Maker and Inputter functions back-up when applicable
  • Perform end of month booking entries as maker
  • Any adhoc related matter and/or processes assigned to function.
  • Execute Manager Check printing process and produce reconciliation report
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • Previous relevant experience preferred
  • 3 years of experience working in operations department banking sector or related field
  • Good technical skills, customer service, oriented, multitasking, proven capabilities to work well under pressure, attention to details, strong analytical skills and teamwork.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral required : Bilingual French-English, Creole, Spanish as plus
  • Organizational skills
  • Effective communication and analytical skills
  • Microsoft Office precisely Excel and Word skills required.


  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
