Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is seeking a Deputy Chief of Party, Programs for a potential 5 year, USAID project in Haiti. This project will deliver health services such as Maternal, Child Health and Nutrition Services; HIV/AIDS; Family Planning and Reproductive Health from the Ministry of Health’s Essential Package of Health Services through facilities and attending communities.
This position is subject to project award and funding.
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree, ideally in Administration or related area (exceptional relevant experience, which includes a minimum of 15 years managing the implementation of development assistance programs may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
- Minimum of 10 years experience working in the health sector and successfully managing a fast pace multi-disciplinary team to achieve development results. Experience in two or more of the following technical areas is preferred [primary health care, maternal children and neonatal care, family planning, maternal, newborn, and child health (FP/MNCH), nutrition, HIV and AIDS, and health systems strengthening. USAID experience preferred.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience. Must have a proven track-record of building teams and fostering collaboration in order to achieve goals, meet milestones, and produce high quality written qualitative, quantitative, and narrative deliverables. Familiarity with USAID regulations and administrative procedures in the implementation of donor assisted projects.
- Fluency in French and strong English language skills. Working knowledge Haitian Creole highly desired. Demonstrated strong writing and oral presentation skills in English.
